In this talk we will discuss quantum quenches, that is relaxation properties of closed quantum systems after an external control parameter (for example a magnetic field) has suddenly been changed from a given value to a new one within a timescale much shorter than system relaxation times. Examples of relaxation of exactly solvable models will be given.
