We'll discuss a new magnetic trap under development in Rio for atomic and molecular species with magnetic moment. The trap is based on the sublimation of a neon isolation matrix at cryogenic temperatures. We also describe the lasers being built for all these species' high-resolution spectroscopy. The motivation of the work with hydrogen and positronium is for basic tests of physics, such as the CPT symmetry and the Weak Equivalence Principle. We describe the developments in Geneva, by the ALPHA collaboration, towards trapping of antihydrogen. As an appendix, we mention the potential use of cold OH for quantum computation.
