Turbulent behavior has been observed in the solar wind for many years, as magnetic field, plasma velocity and density fluctuations recorded by spacecraft instruments have been analyzed from perspective of the hydrodynamic and magnetohydrodynamic turbulence theory. However only recently both instrumentation and simulations have advanced to the point that turbulence properties in a fully kinetic plasma can be investigated. Several aspects of fluid and kinetic plasma turbulence are explored in this talk.
