Data science is a new science born from the explosion of the amount of information collected in recent years. It aims to provide new methodologies and technologies to process and analyze massive (Big Data) and complex (multivariate, multi-scale, spatial and temporal) data. I will present a project using this type of approach to make environmental monitoring by crossing satellite images and data collected in the field.
